Coffee or Cockroach?

- Another sleepless Sunday evening…

- I was given tasks in the office and I was so excited to do it…

- Unlimited chatting with friends from previous company and choir friend – one is telling me that our previous team in my previous company is falling apart. One of our colleagues is resigning and will be sent to Singapore for training. The other one wants to go to the beach.

- I wanted to try out camping by the beach. I never tried that before. Probably this is one of the things I should do for this year… Camping by the Beach … Yeah!

- I saw an ad on the way to work; a computer school is offering Diploma for Multimedia Arts. I’m thinking if I can enroll but a part of me saying not to enroll because I can learn those things and do some freelance, ayt? Another Plan…

- I’m afraid of drinking coffee from vendo machines. I don’t want to encounter cockroach legs floating on my drink, just like
Malen. My new workplace offers free coffee for all employees and discounts for canned drinks. I tried it and so far I haven’t seen one.

Happy Mother's Day!

Me and my Mother...

Uwah!

I’m tired, lazy, worn out, etc…

I’d like to share all the things that I’ve done for this week but I’m lazy to write all the things here…

All I can say is I had a surprising week!

Okay, I’ll make it short!

The work is totally different. My previous company is like a playground. I think I am going to miss that kind of environment. Here, my abilities will improve. They do lots of reports, monitoring, analyzing errors, remote manage of the servers, meetings everyday with other departments and other countries – they call it stand up here, it’s really different.

Training is not the usual classroom type. They’ll teach you immediately what to do and explain.

I had a great time everyday.

By next week I’m planning to bring my camera.

Top 5 Things to do

It’s a foggy Friday night here in our place. Antipolo City is foggy every early in the morning and in the evening.

I got tagged by Gracey:

Top 5 Thing before going to bed

1. Hot Shower
2. Drink Hot Milk
3. Surf for a little while
4. Watch a Movie (Probably Amanda Bynes Movie)
5. Sleep

Oi

Just dropping by…

First day was great but heck I got so excited the night before and I didn’t get any beauty sleep.

Ma, woke me up as early as 4:30AM and left the house at 5:45AM and I was there around 6:45AM and my first day will start at 9:00AM. Yap, my family got excited and worried too because I might get lost in Makati.

I spent the time drinking coffee with Hazel and talked about possible family business with the capital of less than Php 10,000. Hmmm…

I stayed there in the office for orientation and I was able to ask their tasks and daily activities as CSE…

The job is totally mixed from network, hardware, software and application.

Ciao…

Leaving You...

I can’t believe it! I’m leaving L2S for good.

L2S was my second home. It’s been more than 5 years since I stayed with them. As I remember, on my first year in the company I didn’t show much good impression because I was intimidated by other people. I admit that I am a slow thinker but I can do things right. Also during that time, I know that being in the support is not for me. I think I’ll do better if I’m in programming or multimedia designs or in arts.

There are things that holding me back; living independently for 3 years, solid employment background, Linksys technology trainings, friends and team mates, positions – there are so many things to mention.

Through those years I was able to save money and helped my parents buy a house, college tuition for my younger sisters and buy the things that I want. So I’m a bit successful ‘ayt?

Well, I am going to miss everything about L2S – walking in Eastwood City night and day, friends that I have made, the biruan of the cool dudes in Escalation team – though sometimes medyo nakakabastos, the parties, the other events – at iba pa…

Until last year, I felt so bored, miserable and depressed with my career and growth. I wrote about those things
HERE, under work category, that I felt so stagnant, unproductive, lack of motivations and challenge, confused, etc... Probably a new position will give me energy. Last year I tried applying to other companies but I declined or they declined because I was asking too much or they can’t give that much for a salary.

In the end, I found a new job and I’ll be starting on Monday. I heard its going to be hard but I am ready to face the challenge.

So long L2S and thanks for everything. I am still hoping that they have plans for their “old” and hardworking employees or at least give them positive paths. Remove the “kickers” and add the incentives to the basic salary.

Aside from good and bad memories, friendship in L2S, there is someone special that I met - Reymond – my boyfriend.

Now I am 2 days unemployed and this is how I interpret unemployed.

2 movies in one day

May 1 is Philippine Labor Day!

I went to work because they’re gonna pay me double. Also spent my 8.5 hours taking some pictures of my workstation and borrowed tagpi (sorry ems) and made him a call center dog…

I had a date with my boyfriend. We spent the whole afternoon roaming around Eastwood City. We ate, shopped and then watched
Iron Man in the Cinema.

Iron Man is an exciting movie. I like this movie better than Transformers Movie – maybe because I like human superheroes like Batman and this one is a human (no super powers and just pure intelligence hehehe)… I told a colleague in MIS department that I like Iron Man than Transformers and then his people I were yelling in disagree. I admit that the Transformer Movie has great effects compared to the Iron Man.

Right after the movie and shopping, Reymond gave me a copy of
My Big Love movie. This is a Pinoy romantic movie and it is so nakaka-kilig… I didn’t know that Fred Payawan (Reymond’s look-a-like) is included in the movie! When I was watching the movie with my cute (Betty Boop-look-a-like) cousin, she reacted that “kuya” Reymond is in the movie!

Wow, my boyfriend is a showbiz material

...

What A Day! I planned to be absent the other day because I had to pay my bills and the house and lot tax. I was really really sleepy but I managed to stay awake until 11 PM.

I recycled some unused boxes and clean our room. I think I am allergic to dust because right after the cleaning my nose became stuffy and runny.. ewww!

Aside from that, I had the drive to create post for Smorty and answered a paid survey.

When I was about to take a nap, its time for Kero’s afternoon run (also my run hehehe)… Then watched TV until 10 PM…

Ashop Commerce Shopping Cart

I have the free time and drive to write anything with blog ads. Please understand and read my blog ads write ups – hehehe…

Okay, have you read about Ashop Commerce Software the developer of the most known shopping cart online? If no, kindly read the post below…

I have read new information about Ashop Shopping Cart. They have this
Link Point review. So what is this LinkPoint?

LinkPoint International provides custom-built equipment and application for the needs of its clients. They support every transaction type and method and cover all locations around and across the world. They have 2 important programs which is relevant to the online shopping cart system – LinkPoint Central and LinkPoint Connect.

I don’t really understand what it is and then they pointed me out to Google Checkout – I think this is an example of the LinkPoint Central and LinkPoint Connect.

By selecting the link (like Google Checkout option) it will activate as payment option for the shopping cart checkout and this will appear as on of the options for the customer to pay during the first stage of the checkout.

I see…

I may try this LinkPoint application when I have my online store…

So this is the
Link Point review. You may try checking its use if you are going to open an online store.

Ashop Commerce Software

I need more income. Aside from working 8.5 hours in IT firms, I need another way to gain income (need more money for the future). I sign up for blog ads and also thinking of selling some stuff that I made and sell it online and if ever I’ll be successful I can put up a store in malls (yap – one of my big dreams). So since I don’t have enough money to build a store I think I should try selling online first.

Okay, online store will be great but I have a problem managing it since I have limited time checking out my store within the day and aside from that making my products.

All I want is a website that has everything that I need.

I stumbled upon Ashop Commerce website. They are creator of online shopping cart. I immediately, check out the FAQs and I’ve read that Ashop Commerce software is not just shopping cart software but it’s a full online store!

Perfect!

It says that I can manage the website information and other pages; home page, design, inventory, shipping, payment and check out information through the one web based admin panel.

Speaking of payment (which is important) they have
supported payment gateways which take care of the payment transaction of the online business…

I have read about Protx VSP which provides secure online credit and debit payment solutions for online and mail order businesses in the UK.

Shoe Away!

I love comfortable clothes like jeans and shirts then match it with chuck taylor or flip flops (by the way my sister is selling OLD NAVY slippers so if you want to check or place an order you may visit TSIBIZ), then off to work. If I want to wear my girly girl blouses, I would pair it with a cute flip flops or a flat ladies shoes (I am not a fan of high heels – I’ll wear them if the situation demands it hehehe).

My favorite ladies shoes are already rotten so I need to look for one; one can be matched with jeans and cute blouses or shirts or even comfortable working clothes.

Earlier this month I saw a cute pair in
Tiffanie’s blog. This gives me an idea to buy this cutie.

I’ve been to few malls to search and I found an exact replica but I didn’t buy it because it does not look good on my fatty feet. When I check out MKNY stalls and found the right one for my fatty feet (or at least I feel that it looks good on me)…

Listening to Courtney Jaye's Can't Behave

Congrats...

I am so happy seeing my sister walked into the stage… sniff… sniff…

She graduated May last year and since she’s a month late for the 2007 Graduation rites, she decided to walk on stage this year.

Check the raw pictures HERE.

This is how i killed him

Just to annoy my little sister (actually she’s taller than me), I found her cute little McDo bear on her bed (it’s been a long time since I tried to kill this bear).

I grabbed Hazel’s knitted (probably crochet) headband and tied the poor bear on the door knob and took some pictures…

I showed this to my mama and she laughed so hard…

Poor little bear…
